New week, new playlist! This one features a TON of female vocals, a little rap and a little drum and bass. It’s full of catchy house beats that’ll get stuck in your head and plague you forever (in the best way possible). Enjoy!

I just discovered this song today, but I love it because (duh) it’s drum and bass. Ever since I discovered Pendulum two or so years ago, I love anything fast-paced with a great beat. This song is no exception. It takes off right from the get-go. I love the lyrics and how easily the song flows. It’s beautiful.
I. Love. This. Song. I began my obsession when I heard a mashup of it and Zedd’s “Clarity” on Kap Slap’s Bootie Bundle Vol. 1. I googled the lyrics and looked up the music video. This video is hilarious, sad and thought-provoking all at once. Click on the link and watch it. Seriously.
I can’t figure out where I first heard this song because I’ve been listening to so many DJ mashup set lists lately that I’ve lost track. It was somewhere in either a Krewella, Zeds Dead, 3LAU or Kap Slap hour-long mix. Either way, it’s great. I love the rap mixed in the middle with the female vocals in the chorus. It’s always makes me bob my head.
I can’t even count the number of times I’ve posted Krewella songs. Don’t care. They’re easily my favorite trio in da world. Their songs are beautiful and seemingly effortless. This remix is excellent, and it just makes me love them that much more. Enough said.
This song is completely out of place, I know. However, I was intrigued when I saw Skril did a collab with a rapper. I know nothing about A$AP Rocky, but a few of my friends have been telling me over and over to listen to this. Aaaand here I am. It’s catchy, as all Skrillex songs are. Though I’m not a huge fan of the rapping itself, the mix of genres makes it worth a listen. It’s an interesting combination, if nothing else.
Everything Kaskade touches turns to gold. This Usher remix is no exception. It has a great dance beat mixed with the mellow verses of the original song. Definitely a good find.
This is one of those songs I have deja vu about because I feel like I’ve blogged about it before, but upon looking back, it looks like I haven’t. I’ve known about this song forever, and it’s always a go-to, feel-good song. Nervo lets me down. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve heard this song remixed, but it’s always fantastic and crowds adore it.
I’ve also been listening to a fantastic UMF Radio set by Krewella and Zeds Dead that’s two hours long as is available for free download on Soundcloud. I’ll post the link HERE because it’s definitely worth the download :)
Have a great week!
